(Barcelona, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Luis Sangiovanni, Fast Track CMO, showed his satisfaction at recent presentation in ICE Barcelona, where the firm highlighted its state-of-the-art Rewards solution. He also considers AI and hyper-localization as the top trends for the future of the gambling industry.

“Rewards truly stole the spotlight at ICE as the industry's first AI-ready promotional ecosystem”, Luis Sangiovanni, Fast Track

Brilliant Fast Track experience at ICE Barcelona

“The first edition of ICE in Barcelona was absolutely fantastic. It brought together some of the most innovative minds and influential stakeholders in the iGaming space, creating an environment that was buzzing with energy and potential,” said Sangiovanni.

Rewards

At ICE, Fast Track showcased Rewards, the industry’s first AI-ready promotional ecosystem and the next evolution of its Singularity Model. Rewards takes player engagement to a whole new level by enabling operators to design entirely new promotional ecosystems, including virtual currencies, progression mechanics, mini-games, challenges, and more.

“Our mission with Rewards is to address common pain points operators face and offer them tools to create scalable, meaningful 1:1 player experiences. ICE Barcelona provided the perfect platform to highlight how this innovation allows operators to personalize engagement based on player behavior, all while leveraging the latest advancements in AI,” added Fast Track CMO.

“On a personal note, this event was a significant milestone for me as well, as I had just moved to Barcelona shortly before ICE. It felt incredible to have this event happen in my new home city, making it all the more memorable to connect with industry peers and share our vision for the future of player engagement, and make some local friends!”, remarked Sangiovanni.

“Rewards truly stole the spotlight at ICE as the industry's first AI-ready promotional ecosystem, set to revolutionise how operators approach player loyalty and gamification,” he highlighted.

“One of the biggest challenges in the industry has been the limitations of traditional bonus engines and rigid promotional systems, and Rewards is here to change that. It gives operators the flexibility to create dynamic, tailored promotional experiences, with everything from virtual currencies and progression mechanics to challenges, mini-games, and more—all personalised to each player’s unique behaviour”, he added.

Incredible response from operators

He then highlighted that the flexibility and adaptability of Fast Track platform really stood out at ICE, where the firm received an incredible response, especially from operators in regulated markets across Europe, with strict compliance requirements.

Key features

AI-driven self-learning pathways sparked a lot of interest. It has automate repetitive tasks and deliver more personalised experiences. This feature aligns perfectly with what operators in these markets need to streamline operations and enhance player engagement, the CMO commented.

Latam markets

Sangiovanni also saw a lot of enthusiasm from operators in emerging markets like LATAM, who are eager to scale their engagement strategies and connect with players in this newly competitive market. “The excitement and positive feedback we received at ICE really validated that we’re addressing real challenges and offering solutions that resonate with operators worldwide,” he affirmed.

AI, responsible gaming, player experience: Top issues at ICE conferences

“There were several sessions that really caught my attention, especially those focusing on the role of AI and machine learning in the future of iGaming. The discussions around player safety and responsible gambling strategies were also incredibly relevant, particularly as markets like Brazil are moving toward more regulated environments.

“One debate that stood out to me was about the intersection of technology and player experience. It really reinforced something we believe at Fast Track—innovation should always be about delivering real value to both operators and players. It was great to see so many industry leaders aligning with this vision, and it was a reminder of why we do what we do.”

Biggest trends: AI and hyper-localization

Sangiovanni considers AI as the biggest trend transforming the industry. “Whether it's crafting personalized player experiences or improving fraud detection, AI is becoming a crucial tool for operators to optimise their business operations and player engagement.”

Hyper-localization is another trend that is gaining traction. “With markets like LATAM and Europe being so diverse, it’s clear that a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t cut it anymore. Operators are looking for solutions that are tailored to the specific needs of each region—something that respects cultural differences and ensures compliance with local regulations,” he said.

Sustainability and responsible gambling are areas that are increasingly on the radar for both players and regulators. “There’s a growing demand for transparency and ethical practices, which is pushing operators to adopt more socially responsible strategies and build long-term trust with their audiences,” he assured.

Impact of ICE Barcelona for the LATAM region

“ICE Barcelona had a notable impact on the LATAM region by giving it a strong platform for visibility and discussion. Many LATAM operators and regulators attended, showcasing their readiness to collaborate and grow. It was clear that the region is maturing, with markets like Peru leading by example and Brazil on with its major regulatory advancements. What stood out most was the energy and optimism around LATAM. Operators are eager to innovate and embrace technology, making it an exciting region to work in!”, Fast Track CEO said.

Upcoming events for Fast Track

“We’ve got a packed calendar ahead! Our next events will be SBC Summit in Rio de Janeiro, SiGMA EuroAsia in Dubai, and SiGMA Africa in Cape Town. It’s shaping up to be a busy year for us, but we’re excited to continue building partnerships worldwide and expanding Fast Track’s footprint across the globe,” Sangiovanni concluded with enthusiasm.
